In Studio Open Level
All open level classes are Vinyasa flow, which tends to be cardiovascular in nature as it incorporates continuous movement linked with breath. Class sequences change every 7-10 days and thematically integrate yogic philosophy while purposefully preparing the body for peak postures. A major focus is placed upon finding presence within mind and body through the use of breath. Check out Jodi's BLOG to read about the current class focus.
Beginners/Basics classes pay special attention to the detail of alignment, linking breath with movement and making the asana or yoga posture work for a students body rather than the other way around. Props are used and modifications taught so that a student can go into other classes and make any practice their own.
Jodi teaches both yoga and meditation classes during lunch breaks and after hours at corporate offices. Classes are tailored to fit the particular groups needs, whether it’s de-stressing from a busy day or stretching/strengthening to support the mind and body after long periods of sitting.
