Jodi Epstein is a yoga and meditation teacher, wellness program developer, composer, and musician. Her classes and workshops place an emphasis upon the breath, personal alignment, and moment-to-moment embodiment. With over 10 years of  experience, she teaches  Vinyasa, Yin Yoga, Power Yoga, Yoga for Beginners, Chair Yoga, Yoga Nidra, Meditation and Pranayama.

As a practitioner and avid student of yoga, Jodi has over 500 hours of training having studied insight meditation with Tara Brach, pranayama and meditation with Alan and Sarah finger, anatomy with Leslie Kaminoff and Judith Lasater, and asana Sequencing and pranayama with the teachers at Sonic Yoga, NY. As part of her Theater Arts degree, studying the Linklater and Alexander Techniques at the University of the Arts brought her to yoga, as both emphasize a mindful and embodied approach to speech, performance, movement and posture. 

 


Wellness Programs and Workshops

Jodi brings meditation and yoga to corporate settings and studios throughout the week. She is passionate about helping clients to increase productivity and decrease stress through mindfulness and attention to proper postural alignment.

Creating the online yoga for kids wellness program, “Jodi the Yogi”, Jodi has shared yoga with thousands of children all over the world. She has consulted for children’s yoga training programs and has worked with hundreds of kids, both typically developed and with special needs, throughout the New York city area.
